About the Author

Graham Hey

Graham Hey is a British comedy writer, author, and magician based in York. He began his career in animation and TV scriptwriting with Bob Godfrey Films, working on the animated show Henry's Cat, before writing comedy scripts for television performers like Russ Abbot and Griff Rhys Jones, as well as publishing a weekly comedy column for Express Newspapers.

As a performer, Hey created a comedy mindreading and magic act that led to performances on major international cruise ships. He also co-founded and edited Magicseen, one of the UK's prominent independent magic magazines.

Beyond live performance, he works as a scriptwriter, ghostwriter, and comedy consultant for other performers. His publishing catalog includes magic books (Undercover, The Comedy Climax, Killer One Liners), practical non-fiction guides, and comedic fiction novels such as Let's Hear It For The Boy.

This is the funniest novel I have read for years - if not ever - and takes me back to the 1980's as if I'd never left it!
